MACHADO WINTER WARS IS BACK!!!

OPEN TO CARLOS MACHADO JIU-JITSU AFFILIATE STUDENTS ONLY,  this iconic jiu-jitsu tournament will provide an experience for all who attend!

Featuring both Gi & No-Gi divisions, Winter Wars offers a unique scoring system developed to offer an opportunity for every style of grappler out there to showcase their skill, strongly encouraging submissions and gives points for dominant position.

With double elimination format where the he first 4 minutes of each round being submission only and the remaining 1 minute being for points with a sudden death overtime if there is a tie at the end of the 5 minute match. Non Stop Action and Clear Cut Winners are

AND As a special bonus to all competitors, Master Carlos Machado will hold a FREE seminar for ALL participants on Sunday February 6th!

TOURNAMENT DATES AND DAILY SCHEDULE:

 5 and 6 February  2022 at the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas/Carrollton Conference Center located at 1201 Raiford Rd, Carrollton, TX 75007, United States

- February 5th - Winter Wars Tournament

7:30 AM - Doors open / Competitors check In (Strictly Enforced)

8:30 AM - Rules meeting

9:00 AM - Adult Brown / Black Belt Gi and Expert( 5 Years Grappling ex or Purple Belt in BJJ) / Pro (Brown or Black Belt in BJJ) No Gi Competitors

All Adult Brown / Black Belt Gi and Expert / Pro No Gi competitors must be in the tournament area no later than 9:00 AM or they may be disqualified if they are not present when their division is called.

11:00 - Tentative Start Time: Children's Divisions

*** All children competitors must be checked in before 11:00 AM and be in the tournament area ready to compete or they may be disqualified if their division is called (so please give yourself ample time to find parking and be ready to enter when the doors open).***

1:00 PM - Tentative the Adults divisions will start promptly after the children competition. 

***All adult competitors must be in the tournament area no later than 1:00 PM or they may be disqualified if they are not present when their division is called.***

**** Please refer to your smoothcomp profile for exact times for each competitor.  They exact time of your matches will change dependent on the current matches.  If they end quickly the sooner you will be up.  Like wise, if they take longer the later your match will be called. - February 6th - FREE Seminar from Master Carlos Machado for Participants 

9 AM - 10 AM Children

10 AM - 11 AM Adult White & Blue Belts ( 15 Y.O. +) 

11 AM - 12 PM Purple, Brown & Black Belts

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

Early Bird Registration before January 7th 2022 and you get a FREE RASH GUARD for only $99 and your Second Divsion is FREE!

- Regular Registration starts on January 8th 2022 for only $99 and your Second Divsion is FREE!

- Late Registration Enson January 24h 2021 is $129 and your Second Divsion is FREE!

ABSOLUTE DIVISIONS will be $20 per division (Gi & No Gi) - For the absolute divisions you must register in the respective Gi, or No Gi in your weight and division to be eligible.

***There will be no exceptions for registrations after this time.***

$10.00 per day or $15 for all weekend for Spectators.
